Village level isolation center to open in Matihania village of Pipraich, will get these facilities

 Gorakhpur A village level level forest segregation center (Isolation Center) has been started in Matihania village of Pipraich block of the district. This initiative has been done jointly by the Department of Health and Tata Trusts in collaboration with each other.

This center of 10 beds will be admitted to those patients who do not have isolation facilities in their home and who are eligible for home isolation. This center will also have the facility to vaccinate people above the age of 45 years.


Dr. P. Govind of the Pipraich Community Health Center, Chest Physician inaugurated the center on Thursday. He informed that all necessary facilities including thermometer, pulse oximeter will be available at the center.


Superintendent Dr. Nandlal Kushwaha said that with the commissioning of this center, local rural people will get a lot of benefit. While congratulating the public, he appreciated the project effort of the Trust under which this initiative was taken during difficult times.

He said that this center will provide vaccination facilities for people above 45 years of age. The vaccination program will run according to the Kovid protocol.

Staff nurse and doctor facilities will also be provided at the center as required. The center, set up at ML Memorial Public School, will monitor patients with the help of ANM and they will be given food, medicine, counseling free of cost. Medical Officer Dr. P. Govind will give Yogadan as technical advisor.

On this occasion, the project manager, Dr. Sandeep Chavan, appealed to the newly elected heads and people of the neighborhood to get more people from their villages to avail the facility of this center and vaccination.

On the inauguration, Block Project Officers Anurag Tiwari, Prashant Rai BPM Pipraich, Dharmendra Rai, Arvind Pandey Pradeep Suresh, Manish Shukla, Suryakant Tiwari, Jitendra, Surendra Gond were present on the occasion.

Center built with local help
Advocate Singh, a resident of Barabaspur of village panchayat Gaura, supported the health department and the trust for rural segregation center. The project officer said that advocate Singh has provided space in the school. The community is also getting support in running the center.
